Bridgetown High School was proud to participate in the School Sport WA Year 7/8 South West Lightning Carnival for the very first time. Our school entered four teams, consisting of one football team, two netball teams, and a soccer team. Students represented BHS with pride, showing respect and excellent sportsmanship throughout the day. A special thank you goes to our Year 9/10 helpers – Rihanna, Tayte, Tahni, Ruby, Joe, Tilly and Zac – who assisted with coaching, umpiring, and scoring to ensure the day ran smoothly.

It was a fantastic day of competition with some impressive results. The football team secured a strong win against Dalyellup, while the A Netball team finished an outstanding 3rd in the top division. The soccer team also shone on the day, going undefeated and recording several good wins. The HPE team was thrilled to see so many students enthusiastic about representing the school and look forward to supporting further opportunities like this in the future. A great day for Bridgetown High School!
