Last year the current year 10 male students were involved in a worskhop called Tomorrow Man BREAKING THE MAN CODE (Module 1), which aims to disrupt an old-school male stereotype of masculinity and support resilience, self-confidence and build peer support.

Next Thursday, the Tomorrow Man team will return to Bridgetown High School to provide a follow up workshop for the year 10 male students, called MAN AND THE MASK (module 2), which encourages the students to explore how fear of judgement and their behaviour influences each other and the culture of a cohort. Participants gain a stronger understanding of themselves and learn to identify the ways in which they hide and protect themselves.

Year 9 male students will attaned Module 1 of BREAKING THE MAN CODE on the same day.

These workshops are occuring at schools and sporting clubs all across Australia. The following statistics are some of the reasons why 'TOMORROW MAN' is recognised as a very important program for our young males;

  • Suicide is the leading cause of death for males aged between 15 - 44 years;
  • One out of every five Australian men suffer from anxiety at any given time;
  • Males of all ages are more likely to smoke, drink alcohol at any given time, be overweight and have a poor diet than women;
  • One in three men aged 30 - 65 have no social connections;
  • In schools, boys make up to 90% of kids with behavioural probems.

Recently, 'Tomorrow Man' has developed a workshop for female students, known as TOMORROW WOMAN: HER CODE WORKSHOP, which aims to create a safe space for young women to cultivate and practice their voice. It enables participants to express their authentic selves beyond the room, free from limitations of society's expectations and stereotypes.

On this coming Thursday, the year 9 & 10 female students will attend this workshop.
