The Department of Education is currently conducting a targeted attendance initiative in the Warren Blackwood Education Region. For the next few weeks Clair Johns, Participation Coordinator will be working intensively in Bridgetown with students at risk of disengagement from Education.

The initiative seeks to work collaboratively with young people, their families, the school and the community to identify and support young people in addressing any barriers they are facing which make it difficult for them to attend school. Each young person is individually supported to realize their potential, create a plan for their future, and assisted in taking the steps to reach their goals.
