Bridgetown High School senior cadets continued with the awesome DFES leadership development program, with an outing to the Bridgetown Fire Station this week.

The cadets had to enter an area with their eyes covered up, so they couldn't see, which is pretty common for firefighters entering a building that is alight and filled with smoke.

It was a huge challenge and really made them appreciate how difficult it is to be a firefighter.

Thanks very much to the Bridgetown Fire & Emergency Services for hosting the cadets. Check out the video below that the awesome volunteers created.

Week 4 has been full of wonderful winter food with soups and cheddar and herb scones made by the year 9/10 classes.

Year 8's made rainbow sandwiches as yet another quick lunch box idea however, the mini quiches were the most popular item of the week (I don't think many of these made it home to families).

Year 7's practiced their cutting skills and listened to Mrs Holdsworth rant about safe knife handling and washing. 

YouthCARE are having their annual quiz night in the Bridgetown Town Hall

on Saturday August 17th starting at 6.30pm.

All funds raised will be used to support the Chaplaincy Programs at the Bridgetown High School, Bridgetown Primary School, Greenbushes Primary School and Balingup Primary School.

It's going to be a good one!

Registrations are open for the 2019/20 Bridgetown Basketball season. 

Sub-juniors: children born between 2007 & 2010. $150 including Basketball WA affiliation fee.

Juniors: children born between 2003 & 2006. $150 including Basketball WA affiliation fee.

Seniors: teenagers & adults born 2002 & earlier. $170 including Basketball WA affiliation fee.
