There are many ways for students to engage in a leadership role at BHS. All student leaders are included in weekly meetings and are actively taught leadership skills. Students learn how to chair meetings, organise events, delegate roles and responsibilities, and work with lots of different people.
School Captains
Each year two Year 10 students are elected as the School Captains. These students lead the entire student leadership team, along with the school's Student Leadership Coordinator (staff member). School Captains are part of the Student Forum. They attend School Council meetings to provide an important student voice in school governance.
